Mullary Eminent

Eagleside Limousins

The Eagleside herd of Limousins was founded by Thomas Illingworth in 2006. The herd has been founded on selected bloodlines purchased from leading herds in Southern Ireland with the aim being to buy females from top breeding families.

The herd currently numbers five cows, with the pick of these being Mullary Eminent, a 2009-born Rocky daughter out of Bremore Veneer, a Nenuphar daughter.

She has enjoyed a successful show career, including being reserve junior champion at Tullamore in 2010 and reserve senior female champion at Irish Beef Expo in the same year. She was also champion Limousin at Cumberland Show in 2011.

With the herd still in its infancy there have been no significant sales to date, but a number of promising bulls and heifers are coming through for future sales, including Eagleside Honey, a Carmorn Copilot daughter out of Eagleside Eauducologne which was sold at the 2012 weaned calf sale at Carlisle in December for 1100gns.

The herd has a number of promising heifers coming through for the future, including Eagleside Gaga, an Ampertaine Commander daughter out of Brookhill Carrie and Eagleside Fantasy, a Bremore Artist daughter out of Towler Cindy.
