A number of bulls have left their indelible mark on the Glenrock herd over the years, with French bull Marquis leaving exceptional daughters and semen sold to Denmark, Australia, America and Eire from him, along with embryos by him sold to America.
Others which have made their mark, include homebred sire Glenrock Spartacus, sire of 24,000gns Glenrock Ventura, and Bremore Artist, sire of 10,000gns Glenrock Dictator, 10,000gns Glenrock Fandango and 8500gns and the Perth junior champion in October 2010 Glenrock Eduardo, as well as sire of many great cows in the Glenrock herd.
Crownhead Busby was also an exceptionally good breeder for the herd, leaving some great female lines in the early years of the herd.
Our policy when selecting new herd sires is to ensure they come from a proven female line in order to secure the future of the Glenrock herd. Sires have to have style and shape along with plenty of breed character.
